STRESA looks out onto Borromeo Bay, the gayest and most animated spot on Lake Maggiore. It is dotted with three major islands (Bella, Pescatori, Madre) and two smaller ones (La Marghera and S. Giovanni). Its fasci nation has inspired artists of all times and still attracts crowds of tourists.
STRESA is famed for its magnificent location, the smart ness of its hotels, its many villas and gardens and its good sports facilities, including a golf course. A favourite, from the end of the last century, among princes and nobles, artists and men of letters, it still has interesting cultural ventures, including the Musical Weeks in autumn.
The grounds of VILLA PALLAVICINO, are enchanting for their spectacular vegetation and for the zoo of animals in freedom, among which there are these amusing little parrots.
